|
To gain a deeper understanding of civil engineering in the master's program, specialized educational programs are available for each field. Students will learn about the theory and practice of civil engineering materials, construction and construction management, structural engineering, earthquake engineering and maintenance engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering, civil engineering planning and transportation engineering, civil engineering environmental systems, and urban planning. The program is designed so that students can systematically progress through each stage (I-IV) of the special research project to complete their master's thesis. |
|
Under the guidance of a primary and secondary supervisor, students will be able to clarify the background, objectives, origins, relevant domestic and international research trends, originality, and creativity of their master's thesis. Subsequently, they will cultivate the ability to draw conclusions based on the means and stages of consideration, and to implement their findings in society. |
|
(1) Understand the academic significance and background of the research topic through discussions with the main and co-supervisors, as well as through literature searches. |

1 |
[This course is a 5-credit course, with a total study time of approximately 225 hours.] |
(1) Actively present the obtained results at events organized by academic societies and other organizations to enhance the objectivity of the content by obtaining third-party criticism. |
|
The main supervisor will determine the grade based on a comprehensive assessment of the research process leading up to the master's thesis defense, the academic evaluation of the research content, and the student's attitude towards academic society events. Research progress will be evaluated using a rubric established by the course in accordance with the learning objectives. The final pass/fail decision for the master's thesis will be made by all faculty members in the course. |

PROBLEM BASED LEARNING |
OUTPUT |
INTERACTION |
ACTION |
INPUT |
