講義概要

The course covers methodologies for creating various services using IT, service management techniques for continuously providing created services, and competitive strategies for protecting the created services and establishing superiority over competitors.

開講意図

Information technology is indispensable for building a future society such as Society 5.0 (super-smart society) and DX (Digital Transformation). This course aims to broaden students' perspectives by lecturing on methodologies for creating various services using IT.

到達目標

Acquire knowledge and skills in the following three areas:
A. Understand knowledge of innovation processes, marketing strategies, and service management.
B. Acquire skills in planning based on methodologies for creating various IT services.
C. Develop skills in analyzing various business characteristics using marketing strategies.

履修上の注意

- The lecture will proceed on the assumption that the students have reviewed and understood the contents of each lesson before the next lecture. If you are unavoidably absent from a lecture, download the materials for that lecture from the lecture website and watch the lecture video.
- The course includes two report assignments. The average workload for each report is about 10 hours, so students are expected to systematically complete the assignments.
- The students are required to prepare their own note PCs. The students should prepare their own laptop PCs.
- The course will be taught online (on-demand) throughout the 15 lectures, but attendance will be taken during the class periods. A live question-and-answer session will be held during class time (using Zoom).
